Just wanted to thank the 60 plus people that came out in the sometimes driving rain and relentless wind to spend a couple of hours with Darrell Ann, Shea and me at the Boston Strong? community opening. Folks were great, our speakers - Mel King, Tina Chéry, and Ant Thomas were fantastic - and I really got the sense that people came away from the event feeling like it is possible to build a movement to end institutional poverty and violence that results from it while beating back the horrendous legacy of structural racism that scars Boston so deeply ... we'll get video and audio of the event up here soon ... and remember, for those of you who couldn't make it last night, we've still got three more viewing times this week - including Friday night's "art scene" opening ... so come on down!
